My deep love for everything handmade started young. Growing up, I always admired the handmade afghans my great aunts and grandmother knitted. Those amazingly beautiful colors and patterns later became the inspiration for my very own crafty creations.
In 2003, I established my clothing company and online boutique, all dressed up and shy. I create handcrafted clothing constructed from original designs. I enjoys designing shirts, skirts, dresses and accessories with many one-of-a-kind pieces. I do still have a day job to make ends meet.
My craftiness comes in handy as a co-host of DIY Network's Stylelicious. I also am a founding member of the Austin Craft Mafia.
I contributed a project to the book Tease: 50 Things to Do With a T-Shirt. My clothing appeared in Not Another Teen Knitting Book.
If I'm not sewing, I keep fit by rolling around the rink with the Texas Rollergirls in the revamp game of roller derby. I'm briefly in the Hell of Wheels documentary about the rebirth of roller derby and also in the book Rollergirl: Totally True Tales from the Track.
